Accountability

Corrections.

A permanent recommendation should also preserve the record of how it changed.

01

What is corrected

Factual errors, misleading omissions and material product changes should be corrected clearly. Editorial disagreements do not automatically constitute errors, but new evidence may change a verdict.

02

How changes are recorded

Material recommendation changes receive a dated history entry explaining what changed and why. Minor typographic corrections may be made without a history entry.

03

How to report an issue

A public corrections inbox is not currently available. A dedicated channel will be added when the editorial email is established. Material corrections identified by the publication will be recorded on the affected Recommendation or Edition.
